Q: How do I make a reservation?
A: After you login, go to the desired Pottering / Potterworking page and select desired dates and click ‘reserve’ by Follow these steps.

1. Log in to Brompton tours.

2. Choose the Pottering / Potterworking you’d like to book. To search for Brompton tours, click the search button at the top of the site to search by region, duration of stay, number of guests, etc.

3. Once you decide on a Pottering / Potterworking, make a reservation request. (Please note, your reservation won’t be confirmed just yet.) To make the request, you’ll need to provide your arrive date, leave date, duration of Brompton tours, number of guests, and credit card info. In some cases, the host may wish to contact you to confirm your identity.

4. Once the host approve your request, you will receive a confirmation letter via e-mail or you can check in your profile on Brompton tours website.

Note: For some rooms, reservation requests may be confirmed immediately. For more information, please read "What is Instant Book?"

Q: What do I need to place a reservation?
A: You’ll need a credit card to pay for the room. Also, you may need to verify your identity.
Q: What is Instant Book?
A: Our site is built upon a reservation request system. Normally, a reservation isn’t officially confirmed until the host approves it. However, reservations placed at Pottering / Potterworking with Instant Book will be confirmed immediately, with no Navigator approval needed.
Q: Can I place a reservation over the phone?
A: Reservations can only be made via the Brompton tours website. Please register an account, then make a reservation from the Pottering / Potterworking page.
Q: I would like to make changes to my booking. What should I do?
A: Reduce number of nights: you would have to cancel the current booking and rebook a new reservation.

Extend your Brompton tours: you may make a new reservation for the new dates. When there is a minimum person, you may have to cancel the original booking and rebook a new reservation

To Cancel activity: you would need to cancel the current booking and make a new reservation.

Q: I have made a request and asked a question at the same time. If the host has approved my request, will I get charged cancellation fee if I cancel after the host has answered my question?
A: The cancellation fee varies according to each list and the number of days you have cancel your booking in advance. Depending on the cancellation policy, you may not be charged for cancellation. It is recommended to ask questions before you make the request if you have any concerns.
Q: These rooms don’t list any exact addresses. Are they private?
A: To protect the Navigators’ privacy, we don’t list the exact address of a Pottering / Potterworking until after you have made a reservation. Once your reservation has been approved, you can see the address on the reservation details page.
Q: How do I get to my Pottering / Potterworking?
A: After your reservation is approved, you will receive an email with the room’s exact address and a map. The address and map will also be listed under your reservation list. Once your reservation is approved, you will be able to contact the host directly, so feel free to get in touch with them.
Q: How do I find out more about the arrive & leave process?
A: The arrive process varies by host. Once your reservation is complete, look for a message from the host. You can access your messages by clicking “Contact Host” on the reservation details page.
